In 2015 founder, Jeanine Wilson decided that it was time to dedicate her career to teaching small business in Mobile Alabama and its surrounding coastal area about the need for affordable and on demand HR expertise. Many employers with less than 100 employees in her local area did not understand the need to conduct their business on a day to day basis with an HR focus. Often these employers were businesses that specialized in their particular industry resulting in gaining market share, but at the expense of HR compliance. These businesses often had no idea as to where to get an HR point of view and would often obtain such advice at the expense of another, learning the hard way about getting caught being out of compliance. Sometimes, this would involve costly visits to legal professionals or from governmental authorities via fines or from a costly defense.
